Profile
Dr. Seema B Hegde is an accomplished educator with 21 years of experience in academia, research, and industry collaboration. Her expertise spans Mobile Adhoc Networks, Cognitive Computing, IoT, and Quantum Computing. She has authored 25 publications in peer-reviewed Scopus-indexed journals and conferences and contributed a book chapter. Dr. Hegde has successfully managed funded projects from DST, AICTE, KSCST, and collaborated with industry leaders including ABB, Continental Pvt. Ltd., TE Connectivity, and ATI Motors. She has completed a faculty internship at CMTI on Smart Manufacturing and IIoT. She also provided consultancy service in IIoT for manufacturing industries. She is a CISCO certified instructor, supervises Ph.D. scholars, and guides innovative student projects, including several KSCST-funded and award-winning projects. Her work bridges academia and industry through IoT, Digital Twin, multimodal sensor fusion, smart manufacturing, and predictive maintenance solutions.
